Introduction:

Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu had shown the light to the nation with his devoting activities. He was a freedom fighter, an ideal leader, a true patriot, an industrialist and an ideal politician. The young generation of this country must know about his deeds and about him in order to become a great leader like him.

He was a fighting spirit and led the country on the path of welfare. He wanted to be close to the common people through social works, to get their love and respect. His contribution to the welfare of this country will be forever remembered. The three things forget to share about Babu-

Spending a long time in the company of Bangabandhu:

He had worked for the country by cherishing the ideals of Bangabandhu all his lifetime.  He was able to come into the company of Bangabandhu soon after joining politics. He was one of the many who saw Bangabandhu till his death.

Besides, during the liberation war, Babu was the committee member of Relief and Rehabilitation of Mujibnagar Government. He was Bangabandhu’s favourite and close person. He was fortunate enough to see Bangabandhu’s ideals and activities closely. For this, he called himself lucky.

Achieving a brave role in the reorganization of the Awami League team:

In 1975, Babu ended his term as Provincial Council. Four years after the war of liberation, hundreds of thousands of tears fall here to the soil of Bengal. In 1975, Bangabandhu, the great leader of our nation, became slaughtered in his own residence. Then the Awami League began to break up completely.

But Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu did not give up his hope. Then he maintained contact with the leaders and people of the party and later achieved a brave role in the renewal and reorganization of the team. His contribution in organizing the Awami League party after the Bangabandhu’s murdered was immense. He was also a pioneer of the Chittagong movement.

Fighting against anti-authoritarian movement:

This was historically proven that exceptional leaders imprisoned for doing properly for their homeland because good people have more enemies. In the eighties, when the anti-authoritarian movement started, Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu, our versatile leader, also became on this movement. 

He additionally played a very remarkable role in this movement. While protesting against dictatorship, he was tortured. This great leader had been imprisoned and always worked for our country.

Conclusion:

 Akhtaruzzaman had all of the features that an honest, idealistic flesh and social employee need to have. He became a great patriot and turned into a subject worker on the way to build Bangabandhu’s golden Bengal. Each person in our country has been benefited in one way or another through his political deeds and the qualities he left behind.

He had devoted and sacrificed himself for the welfare of our country till his death. He was a prominent and versatile leader. He had deeply felt and understood the plight of the ordinary, helpless people of our country. He always worked for their welfare.
