Suppose you live in a family and there is a person to govern or manage that family. He could be our father or big brother.

There was a politician in our country whom we still remember for his good deeds. He is none other than everyone’s favorite leader and politician Mr. Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu.

The Beginning 

When he was in secondary school, he joined “Dakshin Zila Chhatra League” as a standard member out of affection for politics. Then he did some politics in addition to holding his analysis very well. Luckily he got the chance to study in the USA. Exactly 6 years later, in 1964, whilst he returned to the US with an honourable diploma, he puzzled what I ought to do now? So after one year, he joined his elder brother’s business in 1965. 

However the mind is not obeying. After walking his elder brother’s enterprise for 2 years in a row, he thought that this time he would leave his foot in politics. Sooner or later he did as he thought. As I said before, his love for politics doubled whilst he was young. So he conceived that anything he did in lifestyles, he might live in politics. He joined the Awami League in 1967. From then, the political profession of “Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu” started completely and officially.

  • Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury Babu is a name that has politics in its blood. He would not hesitate to sacrifice his life for this politics. Politics become the whole lot to him. He was elected Member of the Provincial Council (MPA) in 1970. In that context, Akhtaruzzaman Chowdhury became a member of the Bangladesh human beings’ meeting formed in 1972 and performed a sizable position in drafting the charter of Bangladesh.
